Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Flushing Bay is the home of more than a dozen teams of dragonboaters--the fastest growing water sport in the US. Come down and learn about the sport and join a team! The promenade is a great area for a run or walk. Guardians of Flushing Bay, a grassroots group is advocating to clean the waterway and to improve access for pedestrians and bicyclists.

A nice waterside park located underneath the expressway by CitiField. Plenty of parking and a nice walkway right along the water. It's clean and mostly limo drivers, but you can sit and relax and watch the planes land at Laguardia.

A narrow strip of land on Flushing Bay, hemmed in by the Grand Central Parkway behind and bounded by cement plants to the east and LaGuardia Airport to the west. When the tide is out, the bay stinks from sewerage and rotten eggs (hydrogen sulfide). Because it’s accessible by only an exit off the Grand Central Pkwy, normally used as an entrance to the New York Mets baseball stadium, Citi Field, and two pedestrian bridges from an isolated residential section of Corona, it is rarely visited.

Thus the area is littered with broken glass left by the homeless who are often found sleeping on the park benches. Frankly I go there because it is one of the few places in New York City where I can ride my bicycle on a nice paved pathway unhindered by pedestrians and vehicles.

This waterside park is a pleasure to walk in when the weather is pleasant enough. In mild and warm days many activities are going on there.

A very nice waterside park. Lots of walking trail along the water and plenty of parking. The highway is right next to it, so you do hear road noise, but overall a nice area to park and walk and watch the planes at LaGuardia.
