This is a wonderful walking trail. It’s flat and the surface is finely crushed rock that’s soft to walk on. Beautiful woods, marshes, ponds and wildflowers.

Bald Eagles have made the Vischer Ferry Preserve their home. Along w/ many other animal species. Beautiful wooded trails w/ the Mohawk river on your side.

My wife and I walk the trail frequently spring thru fall. Good flat hike. Others use this trail and it is never crowded.

Nice walk, flat and not really a hike, birds, amphibians. Have seem some people fishing but never really seen any fish caught.
