Even if you aren't taken with boats, you have to appreciate the craftsmanship involved. The beautiful old boats are preserved and displayed with great care. The facility itself is excellent. This is a place worth supporting.

Lots to see and lots to learn. The museum is spacious and very well maintained. The boats and motors are presented well. We added the optional guided tour of the houseboat La Duchesse. The tour is well worth it.

On a rainy late June afternoon we wandered around the boat museum. Very enlightening! I especially liked the docent who took us on LaDuchesse and the information about Homer. Highly recommend this museum.

We spent three hours at the boat museum, first toured the houseboat, then went on the Chris Craft boat ride which is 45 minutes, then toured the museum. We love old Chris Craft boats and this was our chance to go for a ride.
