The walk to the top (4 flights up), is simply worth the view of such a vast scene. You'll see the skyline of New York City, while you'll be able to see far off north (upstate New York)

We love to take the bike up to the tower. The ride and the views at the tower are absolutely beautiful. The scenery from the tower is like no other.

Enjoyed the outing with 3 small kids. A 4 stormy climb to the top of the tower. Pleasant walking paths amidst the trees on the mountain top with picnic sites. Within easy reach from New York City (50 mins.)

We hiked up to Perkins tower from the Beat Mountain in. Worth every step for an amazing view. What a vista! Surrounded by park almost 360 with views all the way to the Manhattan skyline!

We really enjoyed the views from the top of the tower. It's particularly interesting to see the tiles with various historic photographs of the development of this wonderful park.

A view from the top looking down on the Hudson valley was so breathtaking. So clean and quiet and relaxing.

Yes, parking at the tower is free. There wasn’t an entrance fee to the park when we were there, but the pool wasn’t open for the season yet.
