A truly amazing view of the Hudson Valley along with a thrilling ride up to the tower. Never knew that such a gorgeous rural setting existed so close to the congestion and overly populated City Of New York!

This is a drive worth taking. Great for families, couples or anyone seeking some peace away from the frailty grind, you will find it here. You could sit here for hours, pack a picnic and enjoy the views.

Great place to visit and hike. You can choose to drive all the way up to the tower or hike from the bottom of the mountain. Either way you will not be disappointed. I read from a previous reviewer that there are many non-english speaking...More

The walk to the top (4 flights up), is simply worth the view of such a vast scene. You'll see the skyline of New York City, while you'll be able to see far off north (upstate New York)

Wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and states. Outside area could use more signage explaining what you are seeing.

We love to take the bike up to the tower. The ride and the views at the tower are absolutely beautiful. The scenery from the tower is like no other.

Enjoyed the outing with 3 small kids. A 4 stormy climb to the top of the tower. Pleasant walking paths amidst the trees on the mountain top with picnic sites. Within easy reach from New York City (50 mins.)

Yes, parking at the tower is free. There wasn’t an entrance fee to the park when we were there, but the pool wasn’t open for the season yet.
