The opening celebration of new exhibit of The Grandeur of the Opera at the Bond House was delightful! all of our adults and kids loved it. The collection gives visitors a taste of the theatrical magic and artistry that brings an opera to life on stage. The Bond House also features a permanent exhibit of the merchants of Espanola's past. Don't miss it. The opera exhibit will be featured though the summer on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for 12-4.

This is an interesting house museum which usually has special exhibits. We stopped by while going through town to Santa Fe and were glad we did. We were the only people visiting and had the friendly docent all to ourselves. There are several downstairs exhibits and rooms to see, with some interesting history and architecture. The upstairs is closed to the public. We caught the last days of the exhibit of costumes from the Santa Fe Opera.

This beautiful old home is a perfect as a small local museum. It has many rooms with a variety of exhibits. Who knew that Española's history was so colorful and significant? And currently there is an exhibit room with several costumes and props from the Santa Fe Opera - a real treat to see the detail and magic up close!

This was a pleasant surprise. We were out for a ride and just did a step in. It was well worth the time I really enjoyed learning new things about New Mexico.

We shared stories from our book Women Marked for History at the Bond House Museum recently. We were amazed with the history of the Espanola Valley that is captured in this Museum. If you love New Mexico history, the Bond House Museum is a Must See! Phil and Rosanne Archuletta, Authors of Women Marked for History

A fascinating place to visit. I grew up in Espanola and used to go here regularly as it was the County Extension Office was housed back in the 60s. It was fun to revisit and look at it from a historical perspective.

Linda was an incredible docent for not only the historic Bond House but for all of Northern New Mexico. The museum itself is very well done and right next door to the newly finished Plaza in Espanola.

Was here in Early 2019 before the pandemic hit. Worth every minute of one's time spent here, more so if one is a fan of the Chili Line.
