Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Amba Farm is a real working farm on 37 acres of prime land in the middle of Bergen County. It is a great place to come and visit our rural past.

I was able to visit right before Christmas and saw the last stages of the holidays with what was left of the trees and wreaths and wished I had gotten there earlier to see what it looked like at the beginning of the holidays as not much was left.

The farm store was stocked with all sorts of goodies for the holidays with pies, cakes, cookies and delicious prepared foods. It is a place of sites and smells and so nicely merchandised.

In the warmer months I want to return to see what the fields look like and the coming of Spring. It must be a site.

IT is ia great place to visit with toddlers. The goats are so much fun to feed and watch them interact with each other. The bunnies are awesome and just the right size for little kids to enjoy. The alpacas arer great to interact with as they are so different from other animanls. The place is the right size for toddlers. After an hour or so you have seen everything and the toddlers are ready to go home or to the store aacrsoo the way to get a great donut!

This farm is simply a gem! You can literally pick up all you need for dinner in one place! They have the freshest fruit and veggies! There are fresh baked good which are delicious! They even have prepared food. A must try is the Waldorf Chicken salad. There is even wine testing inside the market. Right now there are beautiful fall decorations and even a pumpkin patch! Make sure you visit and spend time at their small zoo! A must visit is also their Greenhouse!

Close to home. Grandkids love feeding the animals. Clean, signs very clear about what animals can eat which foods. Foods can be purchased right at farm. This has been our third trip there in 1 year. Kids always excited about visiting the farmyard animals.

As I read all of the fairly horrible reviews on all the commercial enterprises, like Sesame Place, I feel and need to share how amazing it is to take young grandkids to this wonderful farm. It is a clean, beautiful, natural, wonderful experience. Seasonally there are different offerings. This week I took two and four year olds to cut flowers, and they loved it. Petting farm and chance to feed the animals is always a win. Clean shaded picnic grounds. Fabulous farm shop to get food and bring home produce. Only wish they had real bathrooms. If you live in Bergen County, New Jersey, this is a perfect few hours.

We went specifically for the Barnyard Petting Zoo. The animals were great. Buying food for them was inexpensive. Grandparents are free on Wednesdays. We had a wonderful time. There is also a wonderful market with fresh produce.

My family and I love everything about Abma’s Farm. It really is a treasure. There are so many fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables and homemade baked goods. You can buy lunch there, sit and eat in the nice patio area, and shop their greenhouses for flowers and plants. There are all kinds of programs for children, including birthday parties, and farm-to-table dinners, too. There really is something for everyone! I commend the family for working so hard, and taking such great pride in their farm. It really shows!!

Our absolute favorite part is the petting zoo full of barnyard buddies. We take our two year old little girl there once a week and it’s her all-time favorite place to go. The animals are loved and definitely well cared for. Everything is kept so clean, too, from their paddocks to their water buckets. The whole area is so nicely designed, landscaped, and easy to walk around with children including with strollers. We love feeding the bunnies the green tops from carrots, and watching them hop all over. The goats are the best - you can feed them the animal cookies they sell there. My daughter loves the sweetest little black and white Pygmy goat the most! There are also calves, ducks, alpaca, adorable and gentle ponies, donkeys, and a mini horse who thinks she’s a Draft horse lol. I get the biggest kick out of her. I love seeing our little girl light up, learn and interact with animals we obviously can’t keep at home!

I would recommend Abma’s to anyone I know. It’s a wonderful place that we truly enjoy!!

This place is a hidden gem! I recently found out about this place and visited with family and the nephews and neice ages 5-12. They all had a blast!!! There was 6 of us adults and we really enjoyed it as well. We did wine tasting which was very cheap and definitely worth it!!!! We got a cute wine glass with their logo on it. The kids got to see bunnies, cows, chickens, goats, and other farm animals. The market had veggies, fruits, jams, candy, food, pies, and more!!! The pies were Delicious!!!! We will be coming back for more pie and wine! They selection of wines for the tasting was really good! The kids get to see the animals for free and you only pay for the crackers to feed the animals which are cheap. They have a garden and green house. check the website or call to find out about more events depending on the month or season. They have a picnic area with tables. Plenty of parking. Cute area! We will be coming back! Great for kids and adult.
