This is an old Wyckoff House being restored. It is open only at certain times. Check with the Wyckoff Township website to see when it is open.

The house is an amalgam of periods and styles, furnished -- tastefully, to my eye -- with Federal Period items (some of which, I believe, are reproductions) that are not original to the house. They are perhaps higher-toned than all but the most recent occupants...More

Check the website for when tours are offered. There is real history here -- the Dutch settled much of northern New Jersey. The old stone “Zabriskie House” was built circa 1730 by William Van Voorhees and is believed to be the oldest structure in Wyckoff....More
