Really nice place, generous trails, good signage, not only cedars but broadleaf trees , too. Gorgeous vistas, except for a kleenex no trash at all. On the way you can stop at the Baatara gorge.

Tannourine cedars reserve is the largest and densest cedar forests in Lebanon. There are many hiking trails. We choose n4, the medium one. Don't forget to take water and some protein bars. Very safe but the hiking trail signs could be enhanced.

Tannourine Cedar Forest does not have the oldest cedars, although there are some very large trees. They have the most extensive hiking trails, and the trails are well marked. The views are great and the access is quite easy.

This reserve is beautiful for hiking. There are five main trails that you can choose. We chose trail 2. It was the shortest. On midway of this trail there is a breathtaking view of the valleys. There is a 5000 LL entrance fee.

We had really a great pleasure while visiting the forest. It is very well kept and organised. The trail is clear and you have some points with splandid views on the valley.
