Every time I visit this place it remind how fragile we are as human society. It makes people to reflect why this occurred to us.

We stopped here while we visited Liberty park. This was a very neat stop. Very well done memorial. Would recommend a stop if you are in the area.

Both the Empty Sky and Teardrop (near the cruise ship terminal at Cape Liberty) memorials to 9/11 are very moving and emotional sites. The teardrop memorial was donated by Russia.

Its a simple but very moving monument to the horrors of 9/11. A reminder of the empty spaces both physical and emotional it left behind.

Take a few minutes at least to appreciate this monumental sculpture when you take the ferry to Ellis Island. The sight line takes you across to where the Twin Towers once stood.

The park is nice. Not just for tourist but mostly for locals who are stressed out and want to relax. The view is the nyc skyline which is really relaxing.

This is a lovely tribute to the 911 tragedy in a serene setting. I was glad to be able to view it first hand.

It resembles loosely the two towers s if they had fallen horizontally. The design reflects the theme unfulfilled lives of the fallen. Stark reminder of the price the area paid on the day of the attack.

Our group decided after dinner to go see the 911 site. We took the subway there, which was real easy. It gave me goose bumps and thoughts of the images flooded back. Very well worth it to see.

This monument appears to be a salute by New Jersey to the 911 Memorial. With its location so special, being on the water overlooking New York City. It is very well done and makes you appreciate the monument!

My apology for the delay - I found the place quiet safe and maybe 15 people visiting as well - primarily couples and families - For us - the view was breath taking - Hope this helps

Yes, there is a free area to park for a limited time to park which is enough for the memorial. If you want to go to Ellis and/or Liberty Island you will need to park in the paid lot.

Very accessible parking lot is close to the memorial. We got confused and paid to park in the wrong lot. Drive past the pay lot to memorial parking. The views on a clear day are quite something.
