If you are in NY as a tourist and you would like to have the best picture of Manhattan, you need to take the train to Hoboken NJ, you will find the waterfront walkway , it has a panoramic picture of beautiful Manhattan.
It is difficult to imagine seeing the horrors of 9/11 from this tranquil and shady walkway.

We visited Hoboken from Manhattan just to go to go to Carlo's bakery (which was exciting), but we loved the wide streets, riverside walk and village feel, that make it so different from New York, over the river.
