This trail is right outside my daughters house— hike into high bridge or out to Ken Lockwood Gorge!! What a wonderful resource— great exercise, great views, and who knew it was supported and built by a natural gas pipeline company!! Get out there!

The trail lends itself to catering to your wilderness exploring. The trail itself is flat and consistent, mostly crushed rock. A baby stroller could be difficult. Exceptional for walking/running, and a casual biking adventure. This portion of the South Branch river is beautiful and includes...More

The Trail runs through High Bridge, NJ. I do not recall any hotels there. Might be some B and B type places. There are hotels in Clinton about 2-3 miles away.

Circa in High Bridge at the town where it starts. A couple of doors down from where you park.
