The Preserve includes an easy loop trail walk and a reservoir. The reservoir offers kayak, canoe and stand up paddle rental in the spring, summer and early fall.

The path is clearly doable. Easy and flat. You walk at ease near the water and among trees. Just relaxing. There are benches along the way to stop and enjoy nature. Bring with you water and a camera.

Nice walking paths around lake they also rent kayaks through Ramsey Outdoor. Don't know the distance around park but you can easily walk in about 1 hour. Breath of fresh air in suburbia.

This is a nice place to take a hike, walk with your dog, or during the warmer months, to rent a paddleboard or kayak. Parking can be a little tight, so it's best to get there early.

My three times around the Preserve yesterday reminded me of a wintery challenge two years ago. My pictures from that hike are attached. Today the going was much easier, but that is New Jersey weather for you.
