We bring friends who are not familiar with the area and they all enjoy the climb. The views is magnificent. ! After you're done you can get a memento of your climb I'm the office. Follow this up with a walk out on the jetty...More

Hands down, my favorite spot. I love the beach and watching the waves etc. but visiting the lighthouse just really does something for my soul. We didn't climb it this time but do try to climb it at least once! Only $3 and the views...More

There are places to rest on your way up though. It is beautiful and there's a nice gift shop nearby. If you aren't staying in LBI it's not a far drive. Be careful on the main road down there as the cops pull people over...More

It's a nice way to spend part of the day lots to see the baby and of course the old Barney Lighthouse and the shipping and fishing boats coming and going out to the Atlantic ocean

Barnegat is the middle sister between absecon and cape may lighthouses. You must climb to the top for beautiful views

Sorry, I just saw your question, I would have to say I doubt it would be open as it is a state holiday. Though you can likely walk through the park.
