While the show was somewhat amusing, the use of obvious audience shills was less than professional. After my wife and I noticed the use of audience plants it really gets BORING, If I go to a "magic" show, I really shouldn't be able to figure...More
Maybe I can be easily fooled but this show was simply terrific. First class entertainment. Mat has a great stage presence and easily interacts and adjusts with the audience. Some of the tricks / illusions were simply unbelievable. We were still talking about it when...More
I was very disappointed in the quality of Mat Franco's show that I had just seen 11/2018. He preformed tricks that are ancient. Card tricks suck for a Las Vegas act but you'll get a lot of them with his performance. Most, but not all,...More
Mat seems like a nice guy with solid slight of hand tricks but the whole overly sugar sweetened “from my humble beginnings” schtick got old really fast. I was bored after 15 minutes. This show is for you if you watch a lot of TV...More
The magic is ok, but the experience is excellent. Mat really plays to the crowd well and makes the evening memorable. He involves the audience members in the show and does it with excellent skill and jest. My wife and I loved the show.

I saw his show last December and met people who had seen the show more than once and enjoyed it immensely, even twice. As you may recall he selects people from the audience to help him with tricks and I suppose the jokes will vary depending on his "victims". Franco has the gift of the gab and is quick on his feet with comeback lines. He has an opener to warm up the audience and helps out here and there during the show. There was a video of his childhood , tribute to grandma which I would think he would keep in his shows because of the impact it has had on him. I would see him again. He is a charmer!
