This was one of our favorite things to do
Feb 2020
We were surprised at how much fun it was. We almost did not go in, but all of us, (2 guys and 1 girl in their late 20's and me and my wife in the early 60's, had a blast (literally).

Unfortunate

I walk up to the costumer service desk, granted I am late for my 30 minute pre reservation time, and the representative at the desk was brief and unsympathetic. As I was inquiring about the reason we had to be early , she simply kept stating it said in your email that you will be cancelled. I tried to explain that I attempted to call but the number on the website went to voice mail every time I called. My party was running late and I wanted to know if would be able to still play before we spent $35.00 on an Uber. She kept breaking down the equipment at her desk and being short. I was looking forward to this outing for my birthday but now I'm mad, experience less and out $35.00. I hope the manager enjoys her early out.

MGM VR was great
Oct 2019 • Couples
So me and wife love MGM. It seems to be the place that has all of things we love to do. So the new VR game was the next thing on the agenda.

First thing first. Get there on time. 30 minutes before to be sure. They cancelled our appointment when we were 15 minutes late. No worries. The employees were so accommodating. They even have suggestions. We did outbreak origin and with a very lively family group. It was a blast and my wife called the game "The most fun she has ever had." Time went by super fast and we were somewhat tired afterwards but it was fun.

One of the best vegas things to do!
Aug 2019
We were looking for something to do one morning and found this after a quick internet search. My husband and I are not gamers at all and VR has never been on our radar but based on reviews, we decided to give it a try. It was $50 per person and we got two games, the Engineerium and the Zombie Survival. We started with the Engineerium and it was fun although not what I expected. I envisioned walking over more real life bridges and engineering type marvels but it was more of a cartoon type world. That being said, it was still pretty wild! You definitely will feel like you’re on platforms and bridges etc and it definitely messes with your mind. Try to remember that you are on flat ground. It really helps you at times.

The Zombie survival was fast paced and action packed and plan on working up a sweat! You are using a gun to protect yourself and team so there is a bit of a learning curve at first But you are moving fast. It’s totally different from the Engineerium one but still super realistic. I even screamed at one point when I got surrounded.

Each game took 15 minutes and we were there on a Saturday morning at 11 so we had the place to ourselves which was fun. While you are waiting for your games to start, there is an arcade near by to kill time and they also provide you with a locker to keep your stuff in while playing. The other suggestion would be to wear good footwear. You are moving around a lot and at different speeds so good shoes are a must.

For a half hour of entertainment in Vegas, this is good bang for the buck. Good for kids and adults and a lot more entertaining than gambling away that much in about 5 min. Highly recommend!

First Time, its the future

Backpacks and goggles make you look like a ghost buster, but that apart the experience is fantastic. Zombie package was great fun especially when you are saving your friends life by shooting one off his back or just letting it bite his head off and kill him, climbing stairs, jumping on helicopters just fantastic. The robot package was very good but more complicated and would require a couple of practices. All in all this is a good way to spend a few hours as next to this experience is a sports and game area which incudes table tennis, pool and other items. Just watch the bar prices, 3 large beers $63.

Excellent VR Experience
Aug 2019
Went there with the family. We did Engineerium and the Zombie Survival. Engineerium was first, and Wow. It was like being high up and walking on small walkways. I have a fear of heights, and this was so real that I had to back out. My wife and adult kids continued on and had a blast. I jumped back in at the Zombie game, and glad I did. It was awesome. Shooting the zombies, rebuilding barricades and defending the fort was intense. My mouth was dry from immersing myself into the game, it actually was very realistic. I highly recommend this experience.

Best VR gaming yet!
Aug 2019
Had a great time playing Sol Raiders, the newest VR game at MGM Grand in Las Vegas! We've played several different VR games with different providers and this was the most fun so far. It's a player vs. player, full motion (players run around a large open space) with a well-designed game and mission. Highly recommend this experience and be sure to reserve your game before 9 pm as that's when karaoke starts next door (which is a little distracting).

Battle

We had a great battle! Played 2v2. Lasted about 50 minutes for $50. More fun than 2 hands of blackjack. 4 adult dorks walked away thinking this was a great time.
