A well posted perimeter walk around the castle. Privately owned castle clearly random walkers are not encouraged to enter the castle grounds, best keepout as some of the walls look dangerous. Groups by arrangement. But one is welcome to complete the circuit on a local...More

Nice walk, allows dogs, along old path from church, through glebe around impressive ruin of castle. Foot print not changed in 600 years or more

Really nice walk. quiet easy to walk around the perimeter, it is is nice enough on its own and you will not have to be a expert walker to get round the circuit.

Very well looked after walk around the ruins and moats. Access to the ruins is by appointment only. However, the walk around the perimeter is nice enough on its own and you will not have to be a veteran walker to get round the circuit....More
