Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An intriguing little place! Had fun walking around and peeking through the windows. The names on the sidewalk absolutely captivated my imagination. On the property, there was an old abandoned wagon. The texture of the place was not unlike the feeling I get when visiting a ghost town. Unfortunately the hours listed here seem to be inaccurate, when I got there there was a sign on the door saying that access to the inside of the museum is by appointment. It would have been nice to know this ahead of time so I could have made an appointment, but we had a fantastic time nonetheless!

I liked that little wooden school.

There was a statue of a soldier at the entrance.

Then we walked on the boardwalk. All the names of the students were written in there. Cool!

We had the opportunity to see how kids used to play during recess.

There was a pavillion as well.

The rest in the school was desks, books...

Worthwhile to see!

Nicely maintained property...I have never been in the building but I've been able to peek through the windows...hopefully one day I can catch it open

Found this place while stopping to get gas. Saw the big 'Man' statue and went to see what it was. Really a nice museum. Very well done. You learn about the history of the school house and the area of Gallatin Gateway Montana. The display of school desks, lunch pales, books, and listings of the people from years ago is really interesting. The museum is very nicely kept up and there is a area to enjoy the view. We really enjoyed our unexpected visit. Thank you!
