On the day we visited, there had been quite a nasty storm. As a result the sea was high and quite spectacular to watch. On a calm day I can imagine the beach being busy but it was quite quiet obviously due to the weather...More

After a short walk we reached the sandy beach. Great for families. Enjoyed a paddle in the sea. Worth the walk back to the car park and lunch in The Plwmp Tart.

Lovely Sandy beach with rocks for climbing on and even a couple of caves. There is a car park at the top of the hill and only costs £4 a day. The walk down is about 5 minutes and leads to a turning point so...More

Long beach, nice sand. Nice for kids, no lifeguard but flat when we were there for paddling. Cafe at top of the lane for well deserved ice cream.

This beach is perfect for all the family with beautiful coastal views and sand dunes and caves to explore. Only downside is there are no cafes or toilets by the beach.

Safe beach...my children spent the day building dams on the stream. Lovely walk through a wood to get to the beach (although you can just walk down the little road from the car park)

Even on a hot sunny day in the school holidays this beach never feels crowded and is definitely worth the short walk from the car park. Even better, if you are a member of the National Trust you can scan your card to get free...More

Its a shame they don't ban children also as a few of those don't know how to behave & parents think its ok for them to scream& cry all day or accidentally keep hitting an array of balls at you ! Give me dogs anyday thanks
