Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely shop, and what made today's visit especially so was the exceptional customer care & enthusiasm received from Ezra. It is rare these days to find someone so knowledgeable & helpful. I made my first purchase today (there will be others) and I couldn't be happier with my experience.

kind regards,
Joe

Fabulous service is one of the best clock and watch shops that I've visited. Honest, fast, and fair pricing. Very knowledgeable about new and vintage watches and their repair. I've mailed three watches to them for overhaul and service and it went very smoothly.

I've bought watches from The Last Wind-Up and also had watches repaired there. In every case, my experience has been excellent. Dave and the others who work there are profession and courteous and do fine work. And the price is always good.

The Last Wind Up Helped me service a slow wrist watch that was of significant value.
I mailed it to them from Colorado and they provided immediate service and returned the watch promptly. Excellent customer service.

Very interesting watch and clock shop with a wide selection of old and new watches, beautiful antique cabinetry housing their timepieces, old gramophones, and men's shaving items from days-gone-by (bristle brushes, razors, soaps). The antique clocks are amazing and the new novelty clocks are a delight. We were referred to them for watch batteries...had 3 changed and bought a novelty clock (crazy cat with yarn pendulum). Cooper and the other clerk were polite, informative and friendly. We will be going back and taking our friends! Loved it!

I have been trying to get my great-Great grandfather's gold pocket watch for many years now.. With no luck. I brought it to The Last Wind Up, and not only were they friendly and openly kept in touch; but they got it ticking and working! Fair price for a skill that is harder to find these days. Dave was able to manufacture the tiny part that needed fixed after he could not find a replacement part! Very professional and very happy with their work.

The Last Wind-Up is in a class of it's own. The owner Dave has true watch wisdom!
Not only does he know his watches, clocks, knives, jewelry and the history and art of time-keeping, he is also personable. You may walk out not only with a quality and beautiful watch or the perfect repair...but also a joke, a good place to eat in town, a bit of Bozeman history, or the perfect place for a hike.
Dave, his staff & The Last Wind-Up are the real deal. Can't recommend this gem of a local and long-time business enough!

Wow.... can't say "Thank you" enough. I so appreciate your review I'm going to subject you to another joke the next time we visit..... just for the asking. And don't hesitate to call on me for any of your watch needs! Best, Dave

Had a great visit to Bozeman today and stopped in to ‘The Last Windup’ shop to have a watch looked at. Well, not only did my Benrus Sky Chief get cleaned up, and a lot of new information covered, but we had the best time talking to the proprietor and staff. Really a nice bunch and extremely knowledgeable with all things ‘timepiece’ related. It’s very nice to know there is a professional close by to help fix and maintain my ‘special’ timepieces.
