Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Seemed like a pretty typical college bar. They did have a few slot machines and two poker tables that were full the whole time I was there. Also had a few pool tables and a dart board.

We were staying in a motel across the street and needed a drink. Cat's Paw beckoned, but I just didn't know what to expect. The parking lot was full of pickup trucks, plenty of cowboys in jeans lounged near the entrance. When we walked in, we faced a good half dozen pool tables, 24 wide screen TVs broadcasting every imaginable sports event, gaming machines, a running poker game and a bar the length of the room. Our friendly female barkeepers mixed us a mean drink, the price of which was $2.50 or $5.00 for a double--dirt cheap. Bar food was available until 10:00 p.m. but we didn't get there early enough to try any. As far as we could tell, there were never any Montana State U. students in the crowd---the patrons all felt very local and also very friendly. Just to take care of all your needs, Cat's Paw also runs a state liqueur store open till 2:00 a.m. If you are looking for a classy date bar, this is not it, but if you're looking for simple entertainment and very inexpensive drinks in a welcoming, relaxed spot, this place is lots of fun.
