We visited with our three grandsons, 5-8- and 10. They loved it! The Planetarium show was great, the temporary "Roman" exhibit was very well done, with many hands on parts, that the kids loved. Of course the Dinosaur exhibit is wonderful, again using a variety...More

What a great little museum! Our six-ywar-old daughter loved it. We all learned a lot about dinosaurs, settlers in Montana, and the native tribes in the area. The planetarium show was nice but did not hold the kiddo's attention. The museum store is excellent. Reasonable...More

It was a nice place to visit. My kids enjoyed the planetarium show the most. The museum is on the small side. We are used to seeing larger dinosaur fossils but it was a place to go to while in Bozeman. The old stagecoaches and...More

My girls love coming to the "dinosaur museum". The dinos are great but right at their ages (4/7) they love the Yellowstone kids area. And the rotating displays keep it interesting even for those of us in town with memberships. MoR is a great option...More

We always enjoy taking friends and family from out of town to the Museum of the Rockies. It never gets old for us since they are always changing their traveling exhibition. Great place for kids.

It depends on how much the kids are into dinosaurs and the timing of the planetarium show. If it is the 'right' show the 4&6 year old might enjoy it so check the schedule and that will I think determine it. 1-2 hours
