Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A really nice bookshop with a good selection of YA books, my teenage daughter was delighted, and comfy couches to make your choice!
Friendly staff as well. Highly recommended.

Non-chain bookstores are a rarity in this day and age what with Amazon and other online vendors. I was thrilled to discover this place. It is bright and airy inside and the owner (I think) greeted me as I entered. The mystery section was right near the door and I saw a variety of books and authors I had never heard of. I liked how they had notes on the shelves recommending different books. I wandered around for a bit, but didn’t buy anything. I need to work on the stack of books I already own, but I can’t say I wasn’t tempted to add to it.

This little store was adorable and I could have spent all day cozying up with a book. They had great displays and were very friendly. There was another bookstore nearby that didn’t have as good of a vibe.

Best bookstore in Bozeman! My kids and I love coming in every time we're downtown. Such a great experience where everyone is welcome and you can find books, cards, magnets, toys, bags and gifts for anyone.

I took my kids, ages 13 and 17 into this bookstore, but with so many books pushing so many political agendas, I refused to support this store with my money. We walked right out and won’t be back.

There's nothing better than walking into an actual bookstore and browsing! This bookstore has a brilliant selection of books (including a used section upstairs) and gifts. I wish I could have spent a few hours here. If you're not in the mood for books, they have a good selection of cards, stickers and other gift items. Very helpful and friendly staff!

Located along the main street of the town is this single storey bookshop with a loft. You can find lots and lots of books of every genre. It stocks lots of books on the state of Montana and Yellowstone National park.

Remember bookstores? This place was great, great selection, nice people who work there and a cool layout. Had a lot of local books by local authors for those of us visiting from out of town. Wish we had a place like this where we live!

Do you ever want to get close to the real deal, the historical, the majesty evoked by the written word on actual paper, to taste of the fount of human creativity in physical form? A bookstore makes this possible, More than a library, much more than an internet site, a bricks and mortar establishment brings us into close contact with the contemporary creative.

Country Bookshelf is the genuine article where you can browse until you discover that particular interest, where the store is clean and inviting, the selection wide, the prices reasonable, and the staff friendly.

Perhaps it is just that I am from another era that I find holding a bound book that is brand new, that I may be the first person to be intrigued by this sentence or picture, so exhilarating.

There are two floors in this bookstore. Fortunately there is no coffee shop, nor internet stations. This is for the hardcore enthusiast, the reader of tangible typeset.

Country Bookshelf has the gamut of subjects: arts, history, fictions, non, research-oriented, mystery, creative pursuits, and in sum, many more One section has local authors. Available are signed copies. In another section I discovered a book of Disney art whose subject was musical presentations and art by Disney Studios. I'm a sucker for anything old Disney. Found also a contemporary mystery writer, signed copy, an editor for Field and Stream. Love a mystery, and as I have connections to Montana history this also fit my criteria.

For the tourist with bulging luggage, they also ship for a reasonable price.

Spend an hour here, spend some of that wad in your wallet. It can be a true treat.
