We perform checks on reviews.
Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Truly enjoyed our date night for the Billings Symphony and Chorale. The performance was top-notch. The staff on duty when we called to purchase our tickets was so friendly.

32 years ago they stripped the elegant old Fox theater of its European charm, leather chair balcony loges and gild-edge decor. The committee to kill beautiful old movie houses transformed the venerable Fox into a big box venue with tiny uncomfortable seats similar to those found on budget airlines.
My first visit to the Bair was to see the Broadway show Chicago. The show was excellent, but the theater is a dump compared to its former days of glory. There is no middle aisle so patrons jam in from only two sides of the theater. With coats, purses and such, the plain-walled theater is jammed when shows are sold out. And Chicago was that Sunday afternoon. There is no orchestra pit, a decision no doubt enabling more seats (revenue) to be installed. Even the Billings Senior High theater has an orchestra pit and a much larger stage depth that would have been a better venue for Chicago.
But the Bair is popular and fields great entertainment. It’s a treasure for this part of Montana and I am happy to hear it will close for a year to launch a major $10 million remodel. Hopefully it will include a spacious middle aisle.

ABT has a great line-up of performances each year that appeal to a wide variety of folks. The Billings Symphony calls this their home. They have a series for the performing arts and many individual shows during the year. The seats are comfortable and there is ample leg room. Concessions are available for wine and coffee and some candy. Only drawback is lack of bathrooms on the main floor.

We attend about a dozen times each year: Symphony, opera, dance, music, musicals, and touring Broadway plays. Over the years we have also seen magicians and circus acts (including Cirque du Soleil and similar lesser known performances with lasers, acrobatics, and more). The tickets are much less than in a big city, but the best performances are often mid-week. Many that don't sell out (more than half the total) used to offer half price rush tickets a few hours before the performance. I don't know if they still do. Well worth looking into what is available if you are in town and have a free evening. You need to check the symphony schedule on a separate website and I don't think rush tickets are available for symphony performances. Only snacks and soft drinks, wine and beer are available.
