We are very lucky to have such a well maintained and available conservation area in eastern Missouri. It has numerous well stocked lakes for fishing and is a great place just to relax or take a walk/hike to see abundant wildlife. It is well worth...More

If want to experience nature and the wildlife, then you've found your place. Lakes, woods, trails...name it and this park has it.

While most use the Conservation Area for fishing, hunting, or practice, I enjoy going here for my photography. Whether wildflowers or water scenes or wildlife, there is always something of interest, including the old ammo depots scattered around the area.

This is not far off the highway. My Grandfather would take me here to fish back in the late 60's and early 70's. There is Auto tour that takes you through the area. You will see a lot of wildlife and lakes. There are bunkers...More

Lots of roads to roam and search for wildlife. There are many small lakes (ponds) with fishing and boats for rent. The roads are gravel so be prepared for a dusty car. Hunting in season is practiced here. Poor Bambi. Owls and lots of seasonal...More

Me and my buddy have fished Busch Wildlife Conservation for the past 18 years. We are never disappointed. The lakes are always stocked and there are always surprises, like some of the largest snapping turtles anywhere!

Dozens of lakes/ponds. Picnic tables and port-a-potties at many. Great place to spend the day fishing with the kids. Some lakes are just catch and release. Make sure to visit the nature center to check in if you want to keep. Notifications of which lakes...More

Amy there is no playground I'm aware of. It is mostly a natural wildlife setting with trails, fishing ponds and wooded areas.
