Beautiful scenery abounds around the old train station along the waterfront. This would be a terrific place to launch a hike on the Katy Trail.

In St. Charles, you can rent bikes at the Bike Stop Cafe. You can also rent bikes in Defiance. There are also places in other towns. Where are you starting from?

There are several places along this route. Especially off Main Street. If you travel west during the summer there is a fresh produce store that serves food also.
