I loved seeing all of the locations here used in the Hobbit filming. The owners are so very knowledgeable and passionate about their home, and it really shines through. Loved seeing the remnants from filming (including a blocking spot for Martin Freeman) and where Gandalf split the stone to allow "the sun (to) take you all"!…

Suzie our tour guide was very welcoming and very proud of her tour. She had so much knowledge regarding the Hobbit film and had a real passion for it. The scenery itself was incredible and very unique. We had the opportunity to take lots of photos with props and Suzie made sure we got all the right angles! A must do tour!…

I was welcomed very warmly by Suzie. Her enthusiasm for the tour and the lord of the rings franchise really shines through and made this tour really special. Before the tour starts you have the opportunity to pose with replicas of some of the swords featured in the Hobbit movie. After a short slideshow (giving you background knowledge of the film location) we boarded a minibus and headed to the start of the tour route. The tour lasts about 90 minutes and has a well stocked gift shop for all your middle earth needs. You have plenty of time for photos and the scenery is stunning. This was well worth the trip. Thanks again! …

Our lovely female tour guide (sorry I forgot your name!) was incredibly welcoming and started the tour by taking some photos of us with her props. The tour group was the perfect size, there were six of us in total. Our tour guide was very knowledgable about the area, the land and the filming; she shared many stories with us from her personal experience. Very kindly.. I was handed one of her lambs to hold and this made me very happy. The tour guide had a little book of pictures from the filming so we could put into perspective which scenes happened where, it is all really recognisable! We had pictures taken reenacting the film. I can't believe how beautiful the area was and how worthwhile this tour is to The Hobbit/The Lord of the Rings fans. Excellent value for money and tour guide was exceptional in every aspect.…
