We saw the cargo being unloaded from the ship with the traditional barges carrying the goods ashore very interesting. The next day they moved to Cascade Bay so we visited there as well.

Norfolk Island how beautiful and untouched you are. We were blessed to visit this island in the Pacific June this year. The fun began at Sydney Airport because we were literally all at sea trying to find where we were supposed to be to check...More

Kingston pier is a must see. If a windy day waves are exceptionally large and you can appreciate how so many ships were wrecked. Much history to enjoy at this popular site on Norfolk

We were lucky enough to be on the island when the ship came in. We enjoyed the process of unloading from ship, to lighters to the wharf........very time consuming, but interesting.

When we arrive the pier was quite stormy and strong winds. We couldn't swim because of the 6 meter waves they were huge! Never seen anything like that before.
