Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Those foreigners who learn Russian know that Russians tend to pronounce "A-a-a" whenever it is written "O". There used to be a rare exception though - Vologda and surroundings. Not anymore. You'll hardly hear this "correct" pronunciation here nowadays, at least not in the city. Mass media played its role.
So this is a monument to an endangered letter - or rather sound - close to extinction. Some people think that it's kitsch, ugly, stupid but others take selfies and love it. Actually, it's so popular that once it even collapsed because fans kept on climbing it for a photo opportunity. Local authorities had to temporarily remove it, reinforce its bottom and return to its "place of origin" again. Let's hope it's safer now.

The park is close to the Kremlin. There are several interesting and beautiful details. At the time of our visit the high-season was over, though it looked like there were nice things to do, especially for children.

I can not understand why such a trash was included in sightseeng catalog. It is just nothing: made from painted iron frame wher peaple with poor tast can take a foto "for a memory". To be honest should conferm that to my surprize quite a lot of visitors were standing in line to take this foto.

An unusual monument was erected in 2012 in the park on Sobornaya Hill, not far from the house at 15 Sergeya Orlov Street and dedicated to City Day.
It is dedicated to the letter “O”, so beloved by Vologda residents, who pronounce it drawlingly and in a sing-song manner, i.e. "will be doused"
The object is made of metal in the form of an Old Slavonic letter, decorated with traditional northern patterns.
Today, this is one of the most popular monuments in Vologda, near which many take photographs. Plus, it looks like a photo frame.

The art object Letter “O” was installed in 2012 in the park on Cathedral Hill. The object is made of metal and decorated with traditional northern patterns, drawing attention to the northern dialect “Okanye”. By the way, this feature of speech was somehow not noticed in Vologda
