Es un castillo del siglo XIII, de estilo gótico-mudéjar, con caracteres almohades. Edificado en 1296 por orden de Sancho IV.De planta rectangular, recinto amurallado de 135 metros por 54 metros, con un espesor de 2,30 metros. Se conservan almenas y parapetos en la muralla.

The castle was built next to a building that has served as a mezquita, a synagogue and a Catholic Church. The church building is from at least the 800s when it served as a synagogue. The castle is from the 1200s and is very imposing...More
