Poignant war memorial with fantastic view. Lots of photo opportunities while perusing it. Well worth a visit.

A place I never fail to take visitors to and they are always impressed. Also best place to watch the Australia Day fireworks from.

A place to visit and remember. Lots of history and dtails to take in. Thankfully we did it before the idiot that defiled the place did his thing

We visited here on sunset and the views were magnificent as were the colours of the setting sun on the memorial. Set in a big open park the memorial towers over the green space honouring those from Fremantle who lost their lives in WWI. There...More

Fremantle War Memorial is a lovely well cared for monument in Fremantle. The views of the harbour from here are lovely. All in all a fitting tribute to our fallen.

Standing on a mound, overlooking the city, a few setting for something so significant. The memorial itself is a dignified, relatively simple, pillar/obelisk. 3 campaigns mentioned on the central edifice, one plaque to all who served, specific services on the 4 smaller pillars. No pomp...More
