Every year we look forward to attending the Minnesota State Fair. It provides a variety of activities for everyone in the family. Great way to spend time with family and friends.

The state fair is like a giant outdoor mall. If you have tolerance to walking a mall endlessly then you will like this!

I feel we have the best fair in the country! The food, games, rides, and people watching is unreal. We go every year!! The kids love it. If you can make it on a stick we got it!!

My wife and I live in St. Paul and we avoid the fairgrounds unless it is MN State Fair time. The reason is because we have tried to ride our bikes through there, as it is open to the public, and got harassed by a...More

Bear the crowds and get your fair on. Park & Ride is a great option, partucularly the UofM location with it's private road to the fairgrounds. Art, crafts animals, people selling storm windows, beer, rides, music, crowds - the ultimate ecclectic mix. Don't forget the...More

It is the MN great get-together. Lots to see and do, but not much changes year to year. Parking can be hard to find, so catch a shuttle bus from one of the remote free parking areas. If you like to eat, bring plenty of...More

I grew up going to fairs in California quite often, but I must say the Minnesota State Fair is just incredible! It gets pretty crowded so you can't enjoy the animals as much as you might like. Get there as early in the day as...More

Yes. Shuttle parking from the Mall of America across from the East parking ramp. I'm sure it will be well marked. Come early, though; the shuttle lots tend to fill very quickly.
