Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Took my 7 year old here and we were amazed!! The U.S.S. Minnesota sculpture blew our minds and it was very fun and entertaining to do a scavenger hunt and find things on it. They have a lot of cool pictures too of historic people made out of legos and tanks and buildings too. We loved looking at it all. As far as the tanks and things you can buy the prices are a little high. We only bought a small tank and a mini figure he built himself out of different pieces and paid $40 total for both. Cool how they have a table and game set up though and game nights where people can go and play. Can’t wait to check out the one in Mall of America, but will definitely be cautious buying things again due to the high prices.

Brickmania is a wonderful, playful exhibition of what can be done on a grand scale with plastic building blocks. An avid group of playful adults have been creating this display for several years. But, by the end of 2017, the Brickmania exhibit in Minneapolis will be moving to other locations. Keep an eye out for news of where they’re will appear in 2018.

Don't expect to just take your Lego fanatical kids in and out with out either an expensive purchase or a protest for not buying an over priced item. Staff was super, didn't pressure just let you browse. $15 for a mini fig or $180+ for a set is only for luxury shoppers.

Brickmania is a small business whick designs and sells specialty Legos. The store is open several times a week (check their website). There are Vietnam and WWll battlescenes, WWll era airplanes and battleships, play areas where kids can build with Legos and a ramp where Lego cars can race. But if you want to be really blown away, visit on the 2nd Saturday of the month. That's when the train room is open! Trains run thru villages, cities, mountains, Europe and the Twin Cities. And everything is built from Legos. The details are incredible. Every time you look, you'll find something you hadn't noticed before. There is a scavenger hunt for Waldo. The club members who built this fantasyland are there to answer questions. Toddlers to grandparents will all love it. A busy place, but not packed. And it's all free!! When you get hungry, explore Central Avenue - a multitude of restaurants offer cuisine from around the world. And you'll be able to say you visited famous Northeast Minneapolis.
