We live in Minnesota but are not natives. It took us probably 5 years to discover Minnehaha Falls. Worth a stop to go look any time of the year - especially in the Winter when they are frozen.

Always seems to be strongly running whenever I visit! Lots of great photo opportunities there too. Just be mindful of the routes that are blocked off.

Minnesota shares it's beauty at the falls no matter what season. Currently the falls are gushing with the spring rains and melted snow, making for a lovely sight, but even better as everything greens up and summer settles in!

The waterfall is a beautiful waterfall in an urban park. There is plenty of metered parking, nice walking paths and bike rentals. It's also really close to the airport. We walked along a nice trail along the river. You have to walk down stairs to...More

Lovely little scenic falls in the city. Really worth checking out and spending some time there. It was great to see the ice structures formed off the water cascading down, Worth it for sure.

I had some time to kill today and decided to check out the falls. It was a very nice spring day out so the park was very busy. The trails are nice and clean and there’s so much going on in this area. If you’re...More

Very pretty to see, but several steps to get to the best view. Parking is not free, only prepaid slots. If you don't, you will get a ticket. Wear your comfy shoes!!

Very popular and beautiful waterfalls in the middle of the city. It gets crowded in the summer and is as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer. Nice place to picnic and take a short walk. Family and pet friendly.

Minnehaha Falls are very close to the MSP airport. It is a beautiful area for walking or just enjoying the beauty if you like to be out of doors.

There are many you can find in Minneapolis Downtown or St Paul. Else Air BNB is another good option

Depends on how far away you want to park. There is metered parking in the park, but on weekdays or early you can park for free on the street.
