We went before the snow fell and the leaves were changing. Beautiful. It is great any time of year. But in summer you can bring some food and have a great day at the park. It is a must see.

Well now I know what Minneopa means after seeing the fantastic DOUBLE waterfall! Nice and clean area. Fun walks and a very enjoyable time. Bison was fun to see and trails are very well marked.

Near the river they are pretty bad. In fact we were warned to avoid the Confluence trail because of them. On the Hiking Club trail they weren't bad near the beginning along the bison enclosure, but were fairly nasty back... More

No there is not, the water has algae issues and they do not recommend going in, plus the water moves very fast.
