Not impressed. Over priced for having no water, tight roads, extra fee for reserving online plus parking permit. Traveling from Florida to Washington for military. Stayed at a state park, paid half the price with water and had a pull thru lot. Maybe its just...More

This my first visit to this Minnesota State Park. Very quiet campground, about 12 miles of hiking trails through woods and open prairie. Lots of wildflowers and if you're a birdwatcher, this is the place for you. Clean restroom/shower house and a swimming pond with...More

We absolutely love the state park. You do have to pay for parking permit. But we normally grab the Minnesota state park pass good for a year. There's a lot of children friendly trails and a few more advanced ones. It's well-kept and the staff...More

We were passing through and needed a place to camp. It fit the bill. Very quiet, serene setting with some hiking trails and a "beach." Our only complaint were the wasps that really wanted to bother us while we cooked supper outside. GOod thing we...More

What a fantastic park located in the middle of what is thought of as flat farmland. The woods have very nice hiking trails and there is a pool/pond for swimming and other facilities to enjoy.

Just outside Fargo not much here small swimming area campsite are mostly level and most sites are shaded. Camp ranger was most helpful in advising us on a good place for lunch.

After an especially long travel day, we pulled into this park around 9 p.m. looking for a motorhome site with a power hookup at least. Since the ranger station was closed, we had to figure out how to do the paperwork on our own. They...More

Primitive as well as RV spots. Grounds are well maintained. Lovely area. Bath house clean but only 1of the 2 showers in women's area worked. Not crowded with campers mid week. Other campers courteous and relatively quite. A lot of mosquitoes was the worst of...More

We travelled to Buffalo State Park for some well deserved R&R! The park has 36 RV sites and at most there were maybe 12 booked, so very quiet. We stayed in site 34, which was shaded by trees for shelter from the blazing sun that...More
