The views of the river are beautiful. Really incredible. We went across the swinging bridge. Great views of the river. We then hiked the Silver Creek loop about 3.5 miles. We did it in under 2 hours. Nice birch forest and some interesting mushrooms...beautiful but...More

Made reservations and asked about showers as my camper is only a teardrop. They affirmed showers. Showed up and the entire campground's water was shut off all season while they build a massive new bathroom. Porta potties without toilet paper. Gross grounds with litter everywhere....More

We usually have just spent an afternoon here on our way up to Lake Superior's north shore. There are several trails in the park but we haven't hiked most of them.
