The stairs are well maintained and easily climbed. The view at the top is well worth the hike. You'll love the view of Lake Michigan and Big Red Light House.

Gorgeous sights of Macatawa Bay to the east and the Holland channel to the west. Right in the way to Holland State Park.

Nearly 300 steps up but the view of Holland State Park and lake Michigan are worth it. There on some benches along the way if you need to rest. Be careful of those that use the steps for training...running up and down multiple times

Beautiful climb/hike to a gorgeous overlook. Parking is limited, so parking on the street may be necessary. It is a big climb, so take your time and enjoy the way up.

It's a 400 stair climb, so it may take some effort but well worth the very shaded areas where you can stop and listen to the wind blowing through the trees. Visible wildlife, good trails and informative signs of the history of Lake Michigan. The...More

The stairway provides great views to the west, toward Lake MI, but also wonderful views to the southeast, across Lake Macatawa! The 230 steps can be done in stages, with benches well-located along the route!

Don't miss it. The view is incredible especially the sunset. Lots of steps though. There is a parking lot just to the west with two hour parking.

We were a little scared of taking our kids up all the stairs (and with all the tick warnings), but they did great and had fun trying to count all the stairs on the way up. The view at the top is amazing and well...More

It's a steep walk but it's worth it for sure. Lots of little informational signs and a great view of the State Park at the top. I recommend for those who are fit and want a rewarding experience.

Climbing the stairs at Mt. Pisgah is great for kids. There are benches on landings along the way, but my experience is that the kids do better climbing about 200 steps than the adults do.

Yes, there is some street parking as well as a lot for about 30 cars 1/4 mile west of the entrance to the path which leads to the stairway. If you are camping at the state park the beach campground is about 3/4 of a mile... More
