From trees, pavilions, grills, playground, bathrooms and of course Lake Michigan beach. What's there not to like. Free access before memorial day weekend or after labor day weekend.

Went for sunset evening around 7:15 on a Saturday. Not too crowded for parking. Sat up top while para gliders buzzed around up top. Finally walked down to the beach while the sun slowly set. The tunnel is a fun spot for pictures and a...More

Nice peaceful place. There are two ways to get to the beach, either up a long staircase or through a tunnel. The view from the top of the steps was great. Nice beach. Good stop.

I've been hear before, last time I climbed to the top of the dune to the overlook, this time I decided to take the tunnel. It was a windy day & towards the end, the waves were reaching 3-5'. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

There's lots of room on the beach at Tunnel Park, however, it has become a very popular place on a hot day. It's a great family beach.

Less expensive than it's neighbor - Holland State Park - with nice facilities, including volleyball, picnic areas, shaded parking, a paved walkway to the beach area, and a very nice, if small, beach.

My family love visiting Tunnel Park. It has a great play-scape for the kids while you are grilling/eating. The bathroom / changing facilities are pretty nice. Climbing the dune to the top can be a bit of a challenge for the really young and old...More

Tunnel Park is one of the best ways to experience the beach on the lake. It is worth the price of admission and a great escape from the city.

The restroom is right outside of tunnel park on the right hand side. The bathrooms are typically in poor condition. The foot shower is right outside of the bathrooms. I don't believe there is an area to stand under for a... More

I don't think there is at Tunnel Park but Holland State Park has a very nice pathway to beach for wheelchairs. Tunnel Park is built with a dune between the picnic/playground area. The tunnel goes through the dune with stairs... More

Parking is charged Memorial until Labor Day. Generally they stop charging around 7pm each day. Off street parking across from the park allows you to park and walk in without charge
