I thought when people mentioned Tunnel Park, I knew I had to check it out. Really cool park but didn't see it all. Too cold. But my hubby and I did go through the tunnel to get to the area in front of the water...More

Loved the idea that you could access the beach by either climbing over the sand dune or going thru the tunnel. We opted for the tunnel and took some very nice pictures of the beach and lake area. The park has a nice play area...More

It's a nice beach area if you are not going to the state park or if you have smaller kids. The play ground and cooking area is nice

From trees, pavilions, grills, playground, bathrooms and of course Lake Michigan beach. What's there not to like. Free access before memorial day weekend or after labor day weekend.

Nice peaceful place. There are two ways to get to the beach, either up a long staircase or through a tunnel. The view from the top of the steps was great. Nice beach. Good stop.

I've been hear before, last time I climbed to the top of the dune to the overlook, this time I decided to take the tunnel. It was a windy day & towards the end, the waves were reaching 3-5'. Beautiful spot to watch the sunset.

There's lots of room on the beach at Tunnel Park, however, it has become a very popular place on a hot day. It's a great family beach.

Parking is charged Memorial until Labor Day. Generally they stop charging around 7pm each day. Off street parking across from the park allows you to park and walk in without charge
