A little crowded but I live in Chicago so not that crowded the kids had a blast I didn't pay the parking lot fee but we found pàrking on the street. Also beaches were clean except for the dogs running around. Enjoy!!

I love this beach! It's easy to get to, beautiful, lots of room so even if it's busy you still have plenty of space. The facilities are nice. It has everything you need for a great day at the beach.

This beach is really nice. You have a great view of the Big Red Lighthouse, a lot of parking, not crowded (at least in August) and the beach and paths are really well maintained.

Big Beach, Big Dunes, Big Red Lighthouse, Big Memories... Nice sand, good waves for body surfing, lots of parking, sun was great. My Florida born wife was surprised that you could swim in Lake Michigan :)

Depends if you actually want to touch the lighthouse. If you visit Holland State Park, you can see the lighthouse from across the channel that leads from Lake Macatawa to Lake Michigan. Very short walk from the parking lot... More

There are boat rentals on Lake Macatawa close by to the State Park. Kayaks, SUP boards, sea-doos, and motor boats are all for rent close by.
