Great hike to the beach. Short hike thru shaded woods out to beautiful beach area. If you have a lot to haul it would be a lot of work. If it’s just you and a towel or backpack I’d say go for it!

Great State park with wonderful hiking trails and very close to downtown Saugatuck. Beautiful beach and views of Lake Michigan as a reward for your hike. As a couple visiting friends in the area we truly enjoyed our time hiking at this great park.

This is a beautiful park. The walk to the beach is about 3/4 of a mile but it is really nice. The sunset on the beach was spectacular. Definitely recommended!

Great hiking with varied terrain - some of the hiking is on uneven terrain and is steep so be prepared and bring water.

I would not recommend using a walker out on the trails. It's well maintained but I imagine it would be difficult to to get around - especially in the sandy areas. However when you first arrive there is a nice picnic spot... More
