Quick mall trip
Feb 2020 • Solo
Rivertown is similar to other malls. It has everything you need from a mall including shops, a food court, and some entertainment. This mall is two stories with stairs, an elevator, and escalators. There is a children's play place which is a tree house themed in the middle. They have little kiosks around and public restrooms. There are large department stores and some locally owned ones. There is also a carousel for kids, some rides, and a movie theater. Gr eww at place to walk km indoors and to shop. Parking is all around the building.

Thriving Mall
Dec 2019
As malls are dying or changing purpose all over the country, this one seems to still be thriving. We traveled to do some Christmas shopping and this mall did not disappoint. All of the "mall" stores that have left our mid-Michigan are were at this mall. Parking was great, food court was awesome with lots of choices.

Random visit with family

Have been coming to this mall for years, ever since college. Sadly like most malls it is getting less and less traffic and loosing stores. Lots of empty spaces that I hope get used soon. Still clean and lots of stuff to do, but hoping it recovers soon.

Starting to feel festive.

Had to buy a pair of shoes so decided to check out the mall. They always keep this one nice and clean. There were not a lot of people but it is starting to feel like the Holidays!

Sadly Malls are going out of business in Michigan.
Oct 2019
Everytime we go to a mall it seems that there are less and less stores in them still in business. Several malls have forever closed their stores. There is one mall that is trying to pull itself up and that is Rivertown Crossings. They still have a good theater in there and there are some stores that are actually putting up signs "coming soon". Malls are a good place for everyone to hang out and the best places to go walking in stormy or snowy conditions that we have in Michigan more than we have sunny days. I hope this mall stays open. I really like this one. One reason is that you get to go around the mall on two separate floors. It's a two story mall. When you go walking here that is twice the steps to take without have to see the same things over so many times. It's a fun mall too. You can find good restaurants as well as plenty of stores to choose from and they even have a creat play area for kids. The only thing I would add here, and I would add it to any mall. The stores need to be more variety selected. All the stores here but a choice few are clothing stores. Not everyone wants to go shopping for clothes and they don't always want to get other things from a Penny's or Sears type store either, so we need some stores that have novelties and nick nacks and specialties to become a part of the malls as well. That would bring a whole lot more clientel there walk them and shop as well. Food for thought.;

Mall needs some more popular stores
Nov 2019
The mall is clean and is mostly rented out but it could use some more popular stores especially housing stores where you can buy homegoods. Another popular restaurant or two would help too.

Nice mall
Sep 2019
Nice mall, lots of stores to choose from, nice clean decor. Upper level and lower level. Food court by the movie theater. Also a carousel the kids can enjoy. There is garage parking or open parking. Entrances to the mall are on 3 sides. Lots of shops and restaurants on the out parcels too.
