This is a very very cool place to bring your family. The employees are super friendly and love teaching the littles about the small village. The magic show if really cool too.

Had the pleasure of taking my grandsons here. They had a great time trick or treating through the village. Then we took the train ride. We got lucky and with seats in the caboose. They loved it.!

Crossroads Village & Huckleberry Railroad is for me a hidden gem within the Genessee county park system. This living history museum is full of buildings that have been brought in from all over & arranged in a way that this really could be a frontier town anywhere in the last 19th century. The people in the buildings where things are located are extremely friendly & knowledgeable which helps & even the blacksmith shop gave me a free demonstration on something that took very little time. The Huckleberry Railroad is a nice 40 minute ride that takes you on a loop along Mott Lake & then back with some of the history of that area included which adds to it. Granted the ride can be a bit rough, but it still doesn't take away from the nostalgia of this place which also has 3 carnival rides as well as a boat ride on the Genessee Belle which I'll try to get back to on a future visit. Pricing is beyond inexpensive & this is definitely a place for the entire family that is worth visiting in any season.
