Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My brother's husky just loves this place. It is a big and open area, with changes in elevation to make it fun and challenging. It is not fancy but ideal for dogs and their owners.

This is a nice fun area for our dog to run around and socialize in. The kids have fun too! Parking on the street.
The dog park is set behind a ball field.

The park is completely fenced with a double-fenced entry for safety. There is also a smaller fenced in area for small/older dogs who are less active (although I've never seen it used when I've visited the park). There's lots of toys; fresh water is always available and most (but not all) people are responsible dog owners, cleaning up after their pets. There are benches in the sun and in the shade for us humans. My little rescue guy loves coming here to meet new friends. I'm sure some will find fault with the park, and the ground does get muddy sometimes, but it's a great place to bring your well-behaved but playful dog to burn off some of his/her energy. It takes me about 25 minutes to get to the park but my little guy thanks me every time and usually spends the return trip asleep in the back seat!

I LOVED this dog park! It has lots of shade, nice mulch and its all fenced in. Lots of toys, trees, and picnic tables inside the fence to sit and play. Its free and I highly recommend it. bring water for your dog though!

Doesn't say much for America's #1 place to live if this dog park ranks #3 thing to do. Nothing impressive about Deb Sampson park either.

Nestled in a pine woods, the Sharon Dog Park offers a spacious play area for your pooch to socialize with other dogs in the great outdoors. The park is well maintained and parking is easy. For a bonus for Fido, take the trail from Deborah Sampson parking lot towards the dog park and then rather than entering the park, pass it by continuing to follow the well marked pine needle covered path. The trail will loop around back to the parking lot after a mile or so. The cool, shady path provides a great treat for dog and walker alike.

the park is very small and the owners do not pick up after their dogs. i went in the spring 2014 and found it to be one big mud bowl. i had issues with several aggressive dogs and clueless owners. The path to the park was full of poop and hard to walk around. Will not be back. Prefer dog park in wrentham.

I like the two parks so you can choose if you have a wee one to avoid other larger dogs, it's clean and close

The Sharon dog park is across the street from the baseball fields and accessible via a path that runs between the town skateboard park and an abandoned building. The park is fenced-in and dogs are often off-leash even outside the fenced in areas. During winter, the trail is extremely slippery and due to shade, the snow takes a while to melt. In spring it thaws and becomes a muddy mess. In summer, the stagnant pond next to the park is a mosquito breeding ground. Fall is by far the best time to come. The dogs are usually all nice, although I've seen owners squabble once or twice. There are a few Husky breeders who frequent the park with more dogs than they can realistically handle, but its nearly always a pleasurable experience. Although the park is set back in the woods, it's in a clearing- so plenty of sun. There are a few handicapped spots more accessible via another road, but I couldn't tell you the name of the street. Tons of fun- especially after fresh snowfall. Stop by and say hi!
