It was a great place to enjoy a walk in the woods. To learn the history about a granite quarry. Nice place to take your dog for a walk. Picnic, , you get close to the water. You pay a small fee.

Interesting walk to the ocean and around a granite quarry. Relaxing and easy trails. Parking was expensive at $10 for an out of state car.

Another must see location. You have a history lesson of the quarrying past of the region, the able bodied can scramble on the rocks down by the ocean, and everyone can enjoy the view of the entire region. Don't plan on swimming here, but watch...More

This has some great trails, it is pet friendly but your dog must be leashed! Try to plan sunset there as it is spectacular! There are seasonal restrooms! Bring a picnic and stop on the rocks or one of the picnic tables!

Timing is everything. Visit a few hours after the high tide to see plenty of activity in the tidal pools on the rocky shoreline. Peaceful for the adults and plenty of rocks/tidalpools for kids to enjoy.

I use GPS or Google maps. As mentioned by another, parking is limited due to very small lot. Best go on a week day and even better in the off season!

Yes, the main trail around the quarry is quite smooth, so most larger jogging strollers (Jeep or Bob-types) would work fine. A smaller umbrella stroller wouldn't work so well. There are smaller side trails and trails that... More
