Lynn Woods is a magical find. I have been going there since I was an infant and I took my family there for picnics, hiking and even horseback riding.

Easy to find; large parking area, great walking trails; Too bad there aren't more waste barrels available. Picked up a grocery sack of trash myself; Many folks walking dogs there and NOT cleaning up after them!!!!

Premier mountain biking roads and single track for beginners and experts. Stay on the gravel roads for easy to challenging peddling, wide roads with occasional steep to very steep grades. Single track trails are mostly for experienced riders, very technical, boulders, loose gravel, steep grades,...More

Vehicles no longer permitted. There are two entrances. One near Walnut St. and the other near Lynnfield St. There are some interesting sites and a place called Dungeon Rock.

We have lived in the area for 10 years before we finally visited the park. Normally we'd walk Breakheart--not sure why we waited so long! Its equal to any hike up north or further from the city. Great trails, not very crowded, great to take...More

A little piece of heaven-there are mountain bikers and walkers throughout here and I feel very safe while walking in the woods. Great for snowshoeing too!

We take our dog here every weekend- it's a hidden gem! I never realized how much land is at Lynn Woods but there are multiple trails for both walkers, hikers, bikers- even for campers I've heard. We go to the baseball field parking lot- as...More
