It didn't say on their website, but we got in free being vets. I'm glad as I don't feel it would have been worth $12. There's nothing wrong with it, but having been in small museums all down the east coast I would consider this...More

This is a great take if you want to learn more about the old fishing industry. There are a few dories and lots of artifacts. Watch the short film on the quarries. There is also art work of area artists. Worth the $10 price. Parking...More

This is a hidden treasure. There are great exhibitions with ties to the seaside location and the Gloucester community. I'd recommend a guided tour as you'll learn much more than you would on your own. Our docent, John, really made the museum's pieces shine.

We were impressed with the permanent collection, which well illustrates works portraying the Gloucester area. Well laid out and lit.

Great little museum with really well-designed and curated exhibits - we spent quite a while there enjoying the wide variety of stimulating input, from history to art to culture. Don't miss the 20-minute looping video in the fishing history room, well worth the time to...More

IT's an art museum...when you find a museum that also does laundry, I can't wait to read your review of the place!
