It is a real experience to watch a movie at the Cape Cinema. They show current artsy & foreign films and live steam the Metropolitan Opera in season. The venue itself is an experience with a ceiling mural by Rockwell Kent.

When there’s nothing worth seeing in the cineplex, Cape Cinema is worth a look. We ended up coming here (20 minutes away) three times in July. The Art Deco chairs have all been carefully renovated, making the experience more enjoyable. The Rockwell Kent ceiling murals...More

The Cape Cinema took me back to the movie palaces that remain firmly enshrined in my childhood memories, in the sense that the aesthetic of the structure and interior add to the viewing of the movie. Who remembers which blockbuster they saw in which twelve-...More

Cape Cinema has always been a great summer place for movies with its Kent Rockwell ceiling, Indie/foreign selections, and more. But now they've replaced the old vamvas-covered directors chairs with cushioned seats with soft arms. The aisles are wider, there are fewer seats, and everything...More

The deco painted ceiling and fresh popcorn really upped the ante for this delightful theatre hidden away from the main road. A single auditorium with most glorious painted ceiling and very comfortable red leather chairs, the theatre was as fun as the movie.

This vintage movie theater is one of my favorites for entertainment on the Cape - they always feature interesting films, mostly independent and sometimes international. The building is classic with a huge mural by artist Rockwell Kent stretching across the domed ceiling and they've recently...More

A great place to see current movies on Cape Cod. The seats are very comfortable and the interior of the theater is quite beautiful. The theater is certainly worth a detour.

Treat yourself to a cinematic experience unique and sublime. The painted ceiling alone is worth the trip. Go!

Miss the old seats with covers, but still a trip down memory lane theater. No surround sound. Sad but quaint. Concessions available as well as pillows to make movie experience more comfy.
