We have been doing 4 shows a year for some time. Every once and awhile, one isn't 5 stars, but overall the NSMT productions are terrific. This week's Jekyll and Hyde starring Constantine Maroulis and the entire cast were fantastic. We saw him in Evita...More
We saw Jekyll and Hyde here on two occasions. Because this is a theater in-the-round, there are no bad sets. This show was phenomenal and we could not believe what they were able to do with the staging and sets. The staff at the theater...More
Love the theater, love the shows. We have been to many performances at the NSMT. For us, it allows us to go to the theater but without the hassle on going into Boston. The theater is rounded so there are no bad seats. The performances...More
This theatre is amazing! You can’t go wrong here! I am a summer resident of the North Shore (from Los Angeles) and see pretty much every show available each summer—at least twice! It’s basically Broadway on the North Shore!

I used to volunteer as an usher there. I agree that there is generally no bad seat. There is something called the "Vom" which they use to bring things into the stage area. I prefer to sit ACROSS from it rather than above it so I can see it arriving rather than having it appear under me. In Mary Poppins the bird lady sat on a stage and if you had been above her you would have also been behind her.
