This was apart of the C & O trail and we walked the whole thing. It was okay. I can't say it was that spectacular but we enjoyed the history associated with it.

I used to live in Cumberland but did not visit this. What an informative area full of history. Really nicely laid out area. Great for walking

This is a small one room cabin. It has been moved from the fort and rebuilt. It is interesting and I think you can truly believe GW did sleep here.

Gearge Washingtons HQ originally located in the walls of Ft Cumberland but moved to Riverside Park. He actually slept here!

This is a reconstruction of Washington's headquarters. It's a very small one-room cabin. Not much to see. No restrooms. No programs on a regular basis. Commemorates a significant historical event. Something that should be there, but it's only a very brief visit.
