This area has several wide walking/cross country skiing trails and dirt roads following the riverbank. In the center is a field with a warming hut. They are adding single track mountain biking trails.

I needed a place to stretch my legs while at Colby College in Waterville. I found the Quarry Road Trails, only about a mile away from campus. Plenty of forested, hilly hiking trails maintained in great condition.
